I'm pretty sure the title of this post says it all.
Fashion is more than looking good - fashion is a mood, an energy, and a form of expression.
Thrasher tees, which have become more mainstream after being worn by celebs like the Biebs and Rih Rih, have always been a symbol of those who stood for something against the conventions of everyone else - whether it's sticking it after a kickflip or sticking it to The Man.
Thrasher is about putting yourself all in for what you believe in.
In this case, it's a new leader of the Free World - Boy Bye!
Happy Veteran's Day to all of those who have served, will serve, and still do serve our fine country. You are all so brave and I am so grateful.
I am proud to say the camo jacket I'm wearing in this post was actually worn by a previous vet. Proceeds from the purchase went back to benefit charities for Veterans :) For that reason, this jacket is one of my absolute faves. I wear it with basically everything - ripped jeans, camps, slouchy sweaters, turtle necks, dresses, etc.
For this look, I wore my camo jacket with a vintage suede skirt, black sweater, and thigh high boots. When it comes to accessories, I paired the beautiful diamond heart necklace from Lili Klein Jewelry with a black suede choker.
Sweater: Banana Republic
Boots: Forever 21

Believe it or not, I've always wanted Brothel creepers (creeper for short) long before Mama Rihanna carefully crafted the popular post-World War II shoe into fashionable footwear that transcends various styles.
Rihanna's collab with PUMA took the goth-punk style shoe into mainstream popular culture and urban style. So much so, the Creeper has earned her the Footwear News Achievement Award this year at FNAA. Did I mention she''s the first woman to do so? Yasssssss!
So when it comes to me, I knew I'd rock the FENTY creeper with any ensemble, whether it be urban contemporary or minimal chic, or both!
Judging by the photographs, i went for both and added a bit of goth flair per usual with one of my fave lippies.
